What is the ancestor reference number?
If you like, you can assign every ancestor in your family tree an individual reference number. This is a number unique to that ancestor. Why would you need this? One reason is many families have members that share the same name (example: father – #31 John Smith, Sr. and son – #82 John Smith, Jr.). By assigning each ancestor a number, you know that John #31 is the father and John #82 is the son. Otherwise, please omit the number.
Do I need to include a family tree at the bottom of the card?
No. Family trees will include any of the following: parents, spouse, the ancestor, and children. Designs will vary due to the number of children the ancestor had. There are also designs for second marriages. Due to the limited space on the card, all possible scenarios may not be included, such as a third marriage, or eight children with one spouse and four with another. Please refer to the design gallery for all available options design gallery.
How many children can I include on a card?
Up to 12 children with one spouse.

No. What you see, is what you get.
Can I order blank cards and make them myself?

How are the cards packaged?
Cards come in Heritage Cards envelopes or boxes, depending on the number of cards ordered. Each order comes in envelope(s) or box(es). If you ordered 3 designs at 15 cards/design, for a total of 45 cards, it would come in one box. For weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays or other special events that you want packaging as collated sets (1 of each design put together in individual set packages – 4 designs at 15 cards/design, you would need 15 envelopes), please see next question.
Are my cards collated? Can my cards be collated?
Cards are not collated; each design is packaged separately (1 design = 1 package, 2 designs = 2 packages). If you want all your cards collated, select the “collate” option at checkout along with the number of envelopes you need (extra charge for this service). For example, if you are giving these cards as wedding favors and designed 10 cards that you want to give to 200 guests, you may want us to collate the order. That way, you receive 200 sets in 200 envelopes with 10 cards/set envelope.
